Last year, Rolyn responded to hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria in multiple states as well as internationally while still completing remediation projects on a day to day basis.
Preparedness played a major part in addressing facilities’ needs following emergencies. Each unique situation required a different approach; what worked in a deodorization after a fire at a hotel may not be the same solution in a hospital. Similarly, the drying process after a flood is different than the drying process after a pipe bursting or a sprinkler activating. While their training is specialized, our project supervisors have always worn many hats in order to be best equipped when going into a job.
To complement this, our teams are fully mobile and can concentrate resources on a particular area at a moment’s notice. This was especially effective in
the wake of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria in Texas, Florida, and the Virgin Islands. Personnel and equipment from our other locations arrived
following the storms and worked alongside the local offices’ efforts to get facilities back to operations. This is Rolyn’s tactic to “weather the storms”
as hurricane season starts to take its toll. While some of these projects are expected to last well into 2018, regular operations continue uninterrupted
across Rolyn’s markets.
The assessment of weather related damage may seem overwhelming to most general contractors upon first inspection. 2017 saw the birth of many partnerships with specialized contractors across the country as a result of new projects in new areas.
Rolyn is always on call 24/7 for rapid and reliable nationwide response and offers extensive experience working with major insurance carriers and consultants, ensuring a smooth claims process. Rolyn’s liability insurance coverage far exceeds the required limits set forth by the industry. A large inventory of equipment is available for immediate deployment which is supported by strategic office locations, a network of material suppliers, and staging facilities allowing us to respond where you needed, when needed.
At state-of-the-art facilities, Rolyn can help to restore valuable contents and documents. During the facility assessment, it’s essential to work with clients directly to identify contents for removal, restoration, cleaning, or repair. The main objective is to provide a precise inventory of these contents and transport them to a professional cleaning facility for further analysis.
As one looks ahead to 2018, there is plenty to be excited about and lots of goals to meet. Rolyn will continue to set an example within the restoration industry as a turn-key service provider with each project. As we grow our resources and expand our service areas, we continue to be the experienced contractor businesses call on in the event of a disaster.
Keep Rolyn on!
