As a Senior Estimator, Eric Huzzy is responsible for gathering all data required for preparing lump sum, unit rate, and cost plus detailed estimates. He is responsible for conceptual estimating, cost analysis, and estimate coordination. Eric has worked in the remediation and restoration industry for almost thirty years.
Some of Mr. Huzzy’s other duties include review and development of discipline and multi-discipline, material takeoffs (MTO), evaluation and/or development of construction labor rates, and evaluation of subcontract cost estimates and proposals. He also performs productivity analysis of cost estimates, prepares contingency, escalation, and reconciliations for estimates; performs comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects; and prepares management presentations and develops an estimate basis.
He is an expert in reviewing process designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness, and suggestions for alternatives, where applicable. Eric is a Certified Restorer (CR) and also has an Associate in Claims Certification (AIC).
Eric attended the Frederick Community College where he studied Business Management. In his spare time, you can find Mr. Huzzy mountain biking, or golfing with friends.
