Capital Improvements: Structural/Concrete Improvements

Solution: Secures Unsafe Area and Repairs Damage While Hotel
Remains in Operation

Rolyn's Capital Improvements team was contacted to review building code violations at a local hotel. Due to poor structural design, many of the exterior walkways leading to guest rooms were failing and posed a safety hazard to the guests.

Due to the severity of the damage as well as the safety risks, Rolyn's production department mobilized a crew to construct temporary barriers and structural supports in order for the hotel to remain open for business.

Rolyn's Director of Capital Improvements retained a structural engineer that worked with him to develop a solution and specifications to follow during the reconstruction. New Design / Build blueprints were drawn, and the work was scheduled in phases that would comply with life safety egress allowing for the facility to remain in business throughout the renovation project.
